At every level of ELI-NP, a well-organized collaboration system between students and research teams is a key priority aimed at helping young future researchers in physics and related fields to improve their knowledge and to sharp their skills in an international working environment.
As the most powerful laser in the world, at ELI-NP we strive to stay up-to-date and to create opportunities for the new generation of researchers to get in contact with the latest information in the field. Functioning as a collaborative platform, the ELI-NP Board of Students facilitates dialogue and cooperation. It also acts as a conduit for communication between students and the international ELI-NP research community, ensuring that student have access and are integrated into the processes.
We create opportunities for the students and young researchers to meet and learn from ELI-NP professionals and from one another through our academic and non-academic events and educational symposia.
Members of the Board of the Students look after the development of professional skills by managing the events for community building, engaging in scientific activities and participating in commissioning or user experiments at ELI-NP, maintaining contacts with student associations and other field organizations. Students are also encouraged to publish papers and get integrated in the research groups in the facility.
