The applications for the SDIALA Doctoral School PhD program can be registered from April - September 2024, as per with The Methodology Regarding the Organization and Development of the Doctoral Admission Exam.

The value of the registration fee for the doctoral admission exam is 200 RON. For candidates who have graduated a POLITEHNICA Bucharest Master’s program, the registration fee is 100 RON.
Candidates, to be able to enter the admission exam, must submit in the platform https://admitere.pub.ro/, from April–September 2024, the following documents in electronic format:
a) Application form (Annex 2)
b) Curriculum Vitae
c) Publications list
d) Copies in accordance to the original (upon signing the doctoral study contract will bring the original documents) for the following documents:
- Graduation diplomas (bachelor’s, master’s, long-term);
- Diploma supplements (bachelor’s, master’s);
- High school diploma (baccalaureate);
- Birth certificate;
- Marriage certificate or other name change documents (where applicable).
e) Registration tax proof of payment which can also be paid online.
f) Copy of ID card (must be valid)
g) Declaration testifying that the candidate has not previously benefited from a subsidized doctoral studies program (Annex 4)
h) The PhD Proposal in Romanian or English (Annex 5)
i) A letter of recommendation from an expert in the field.

The PhD entry test evaluates the candidate's PhD proposal and application documents. Candidates are assessed based on their level of training and knowledge in the field, their ability to outline key research objectives, their capacity to propose solutions (both theoretical and experimental) for the research topic, and their readiness to pursue a doctoral program. Additionally, candidates may be required to participate in an online interview.
